COVER GIRL: The Wick Magazine

I recently had the opportunity to be featured on the cover of the latest issue of The Wick.

The interview explores a range of projects I’ve been developing over the last few years, from styling and creative direction to interiors, Protestwear, found objects and life in Hackney Wick.

A recurring theme throughout the conversation was context. Whether I’m working with a garment, a space, a piece of furniture or a discarded object, I’m interested in how meaning changes when something is placed into a new environment.

From the outside, the work can sometimes look chaotic. But behind every project is a deliberate process of research, collection, experimentation and storytelling.

The feature also touches on some of the ideas that continue to shape my work: creative independence, subculture, communication through clothing, and finding value in things that other people overlook.

Thanks to The Wick for the feature and for taking the time to dig into the work in such depth.
