Dear Diamond Diary...
A bit of a mixed back last week – some lovely moments, a couple of fashion misfires, and a much-needed reminder of why I love working in and around clothing.
First up: I finally got my hands on the leopard print New Rocks I’d been eyeing. Wore them out immediately, obviously. Posted a few pics plus some inspo I saved from their site – I love seeing how their archive blends punk roots with something a bit more evolved.
Had a low-key birthday breakfast, got spoilt with a V&A membership (which I’m genuinely thrilled about), and spent a day exploring the new V&A Storehouse. Seeing the behind-the-scenes conservation work was a highlight – there’s something really grounding about watching people carefully restore old garments. The corset dress on display was particularly special. A reminder that fashion’s not just about now.
Elsewhere:
🛼 Bought rollerskates on a whim. Took them out for a spin. 10/10 joy. 7/10 fear.
🔨 Worked on a massive corkboard in the studio — part planning tool, part visual brain-dump.

💃 Tried (and failed) to layer two pairs of tights for a ‘going out’ look. Some ideas stay in the draft folder – and that’s okay.

👖∞ Wore what I’m calling octupal denim – more denim than necessary, but it kind of worked.

🍻 Ended the week with mates at the Prospect of Whitby in Limehouse. Old-school pub, riverside views, and a SUPER COOL hangman’s noose out back.
Nothing groundbreaking, but it deffo felt like a decent cross-section of what I’m into right now.
