Somehow May’s flying by and the studio’s been buzzing, so here’s the latest from my corner of East London.

🧷 DIY Fix of the Week

The gallery wall in the studio is finally up — or at least, semi-finished (is it ever really done?). I didn’t want to spend a fortune, so I raided old photo books and mags, cut out some pages I loved, and stuck everything in secondhand frames. A quick coat of paint made even the scrappiest ones look chic. It’s giving budget punk minimalism and I’m into it.

🎥 Met Gala Style Vid Hits 100K

My Met Gala-inspired ‘Dandy’ outfit video just crossed 100K views — which is officially my biggest styling video so far. I don’t know if it was the look, the timing, or the people’s love of oversized tailoring, but either way, I’m grateful it resonated. More fancy dress + punk energy to come…

💡 Inspo I Can’t Shake

Hand-painted lettering on clothing keeps finding me — in the wild, on Instagram, even in random toilet graffiti (seriously). It started with an R13 archive jacket and now the Margiela graffiti Tabi boots are haunting my feed. Something about black, white and red always looks fierce. Not making a newspaper joke. I refuse.

📸 Lust List

Deep scroll on Vestiaire turned up a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood thigh-high leather boots with buckled straps. £3,000+ and definitely not my size, but I’m obsessed.

Also newly addicted to Call Me Sophia — those punky tartan fits are wild. I need one in my wardrobe yesterday.

🛠️ Work This Week

Clerkenwell Design Week is calling — I’ll be there on Wednesday, sourcing materials and ideas for an interiors project. Love being surrounded by makers and new textures. It always kicks off ideas I didn’t know I needed.
