Dear Diamond Diary…
This week, the sunshine arrived and I made the most of it! Lizard mode activated 🦎
There’s something about warm weather that invites you to slow down and really take in your surroundings. I spent some time wandering through East London, taking note of the details I usually rush past.

Layers of old paint, torn posters, textures weathered by time—these surfaces always catch my eye and never fail to spark ideas.

I recently saw someone using a portable scanner to capture these kinds of visuals, and I think it might be a great way to collect inspiration on the go. I’ll definitely be giving it a try.

Dressing for the sun is always a bit of a challenge for me. I’m naturally drawn to layers and heavy boots—things that aren’t always summer-friendly. But I’ve found ways to keep my style intact without overheating.

This week, it was all about the hardware: chains layered around my neck, across my boots, and even clipped onto my shorts. It’s a simple way to add personality to a basic warm-weather outfit.

I was also really pleased to finally receive a custom silver signet ring from @luca_frisenna. I’ve wanted one for years, and this piece is exactly what I hoped for—chunky, sculptural, and full of character. I’m already thinking about future ideas to develop together.

At the weekend, I visited Walthamstow’s Wood Street to check out @gigisdressingrm’s shop. Gigi is a fellow creative and an incredibly talented designer.

Her boutique is a true gem—filled with a thoughtful collection of clothing and accessories, many of which she’s made herself. She also teaches and styles, making her work even more inspiring.

While I was in the area, I picked up some beautiful sterling silver pieces from the market and stumbled across a real find at @oxfamshops: PUNK: Chaos to Couture. It’s a visual archive tracing the journey of punk style from street subculture to high fashion.

I’ve honestly never seen a book quite like it. Once I have my scanner, I’ll share some of the pages—it’s a brilliant reference point for anyone interested in fashion history, rebellion, and reinvention.

And finally, tomorrow’s Met Gala inspired look is full of drama—a Dandy-inspired ensemble that feels like the perfect way to start the week.
Until next time,
xM💎
