The collaboration of dreams...!
As part of Vogue's 'Forces of Change' initiative, the two giants are joining forces on the mission for sustainability in the fashion industry. Giving consumers confidence to buy preloved, vintage designer items is a must - no-one wants to buy knock-off swag with a designer price tag!
I love this initiative.
There’s definitely a perception that second hand and vintage isn’t ‘fashion forward’ and I totally disagree. For one thing, as we all know, fashion is cyclical and for another- personal style is all about HOW you wear things.
Most of the time with my style content people are complimenting/coveting the vintage pieces without realising! I think it’s just about showing people you can add a bit of vintage here and a second hand piece there and still make it look super contemporary.
I'm always all for a circular economy and most importantly, the story behind a piece is what makes it so special!

P.S my most prized designer piece - my Vivienne Westwood Kelly bag was a second hand find!
