Dear Diamond Diary,
🎉 Quick Win: I hit 1 MILLION views on Instagram this week!
One of my GRWM reels blew up — proving there’s a real appetite for itty bitty titty top-punk-rave styling and curated chaos. Thank you for the love (and the comments).
Meanwhile, the real-life version of me has been moving much more slowly. We’re now at week six of the mystery lurgy and I’m still dragging myself through each day in slo-mo. I don’t want to throw around the dreaded C word, but I’m getting the sense this might be long Covid or one of its similarly pesky cousins.
That said, in between naps, hot lemon, and self-pity, I’ve managed a few gems of a week:

🎨 Art & Religion
Made it to Slipping the Veil, a mixed media exhibition inside the beautiful St. Bartholomew’s Church. The setting added a haunting reverence, and the work was really varied — layered with spirituality, softness and surrealism. Also: wine. Divine.

🛍️ Online Shopping
Vinted came through (again). Snagged a pair of pinstripe punk trousers with an apron skirt and zip details for £8. Absolutely criminal price tag. WIN.

🖤 Brick Lane Wander
Tartan corset from a hole-in-the-wall, Brick Lane vintage store. Leather trousers for £5 from Hackney Salvation Army. Fully blessed by the thrift gods.

📖 Reading
Finally picked up The Life & Times of Malcolm McLaren. Needed to unravel the legend after my Pistols binge. Spoiler: he’s even more of a chaotic genius than originally suspected.

🛒 Shop Pick of the Week
Sold a few more gems from the shop — and I’ll be at Mooch, Hackney Wick on Sunday with my full rail (including exclusives). Come rummage.
Here’s to slow wins, high views, and another week of recovery.
